Megawatt Class Generator

High power density 15,000 RPM generators of 2.5 MW power rating have been developed under a contract from the US Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL).  The prototype generator is undergoing tests at AFRL facilities.

These generators have unique oil cooling and lubrication systems to improve power capacity and reduce overall weight.  Controller units for software-based closed loop operation are under development.
