Megawatt Class Generator

High power density 15,000 RPM generators for 1 MW to 2.5 MW power rating are in development under a contract from the US Air Force Research Laboratory. 

These generators have unique oil cooling and lubrication systems to improve power capacity and reduce overall weight.  Controller units for software-based closed loop operation are also under development.
